Q: Can an onsite calibration visit be scheduled for a weekend or evening so our production will not be shut down?
A: Yes. Although additional charges may apply, we will make every attempt to work with your production needs.


Q: Can you send me all your pricing?
A: No. As our capabilities list is quite extensive, we do not send out a complete list of all pricing. If a customer supplies us with a list of equipment we will provide pricing for those items.


Q: Are you NIST traceable?
A: Yes. Calibrations are performed using standards that have an unbroken chain traceable to NIST.


Q: Can you ship my equipment using our UPS account number?
A: Yes. We would be happy to use your account number and save you money on shipping costs.


Q: Will you expedite my equipment for a faster turn-around?
A: Yes. For additional charge, we will expedite your calibration, including same day service for most items.


Q: Do you send out notices when my equipment is coming due for calibration?
A: Yes. We will send a notice out via fax prior to you calibration due date so you may schedule your calibrations as needed.


Q: Can I send in a tool for repair?
A: Yes. If we are unable to repair your equipment here, we will attempt to find a source that can and quote you with a price before proceeding.


Q: If my equipment is rejected and I want a replacement, can you supply a new one?
A: Usually, yes. If a replacement is AVAILABLE from our suppliers, we will quote you a price prior to ordering.


Q: How far do you travel?
A: We normally cover the State of Florida, but will travel anywhere in the United States if needed (additional travel charges would apply).


Q: Can you grind surface plates to meet Federal Grades?
A: Yes. We are fully equipped to grind and resurface your plates to meet even the tightest specifications.


Q: I received a quote from your competitor that was significantly lower for calibrations. Are they performing the same type of calibration?
A: Probably not. Many labs are now offering a NO DATA certificate using the term "CAL ONLY". Some labs have been doing this without informing the customer so the price they quote appears to be much lower for the same type of calibration. Most auditors will not accept a NO DATA/ CAL ONLY certificate, as there are no readings for historical analysis. Although we do not recommend this type of certificate, we can provide you with the same service. Simply request to be quoted CAL ONLY with no data, and we will provide reduced pricing accordingly.
